Our group follows a programme designed to develop and extend the research skills, understanding and knowledge that help family historians have confidence in the integrity of their personal research. Overcoming our research “blocks” is a key focus. The Group Leader is a Qualified Genealogist and an experienced Family and Local Historian. We meet monthly, on a Thursday, in Wimbledon. 10.15am - 11.45am.
Note for Beginners or near-Beginners:
The Group Leader has previously run an Introductory Short Course in Family History over six sessions. It’s not at all a pre-requisite for joining the above course, but if you are an absolute beginner, it could be set up again. Ideal group size for this would be 2 to 4 beginners or near-beginners.
