We discuss cosmology – how the universe came into being, the big bang theory, the formation of stars and galaxies, black holes, and neutron stars, and how the universe will evolve. We watch and discuss videos of scientific talks on various subjects – with the James Webb telescope and new experiments at CERN, there are exciting new ideas to talk about. The current members all have some background in science or mathematics, and though our discussions are not deeply technical a familiarity with science or mathematics does help everybody to contribute.
