A self-help group of individuals interested in finding out more about their ancestors. Recent years have revolutionised family history research as ever-increasing numbers of sources are now online. Whilst it is possible to undertake research without access to a computer, it is much easier and quicker these days if one can get on-line in order to take advantage of these resources so computer literacy is almost essential. Some members of the group are in the early stages of research but the group leader has been investigating her own family history for many years so hopefully can help members avoid some of the pitfalls and deadends which we inevitably encounter.
